Certainly won't be many groups larger than six in those.

I like the way the bubble car museum says that cars were 700cc or less!! The early 2CV's were 425 cc and Fiat piccolini's were less than 500cc , much smllaer engine's, and they weren't two stroke smokers. A pal of mine had a Heinkel bubble car which used to steam up inside when it rained , we had to drive with the sunroof open and get wet to see where we were going! I had umpteen 2cv's, an Ami 6 and an 8, we could get the engines out in about 35 minutes, but they used to rust like mad! Great fun though.

When I was a young mod with a scooter in the 60s one of our really cool mates got one of the bubble cars to replace his SX 200. We thought he was crackers until we realised that him and his girlfriend(s) (think Sting in Quadrophenia) kept dry in the lovely South Lakes rain whilst we were dripping wet.

Nastily, we were dead chuffed when things kept going wrong with it..............................
