One of our new members on facebook Kjell Ivar Seipajervi, lives in Vadsø, Norway but has travelled to Hamningberg, about 100 kms east which is the end of mainland Europe.
He did try it, towing with a '57 Cadillac but the snow was too deep so switched to his 4 wheel drive. The other vintage car made it solo though

I was wondering if there was a Lidl there
We've been to the most southerly Lidl (Spain) and the most westerly (Ireland) in Europe so we're looking for the most northerly and easterly

Oh, perhaps they're one and the same. That'd save a journey

Roger,
I think you will be looking at booking a trip to Serbia for Lidl Srbija as the eastern most store. Isn't the interweb a wonderful tool.

Well, after a bit more searching it looks like Lidl operate throughout Europe and Ukraine is as far east as you will get in Europe. But it looks like they have no shops there, but according to Wiki they do shave a supply network.
Now according to viamichelin that's about 2224 mi (1254 mi on motorways). That's a long way to go for your weekly veg shop.

we met a lovely elderly couple at a site in the North east a couple of years ago who had a Puck and a little car.
We talked to them quite a bit and we mentioned that we were thinking of taking our Troll to the Algarve when our grandchildren were a bit older. They were really encouraging and said that we must and went on to say that for years they had taken the Puck to Greece in the Spring and they were really cross as because of their age (mid 80s I think) no-one was prepared to give then insurance at a reasonable price so they had come up to the North East.
We were well-impressed and said so. They said why were we impressed as it was a simple drive that didn't take that long............................not like when we took the Puck to the Arctic Circle through Norway!!!!!!!!!!!
Much respect for such Eriba pioneers

The missus and I went on the Hurtigruten classic round trip and one of the ports we called into was Vadso, I think the next port was Kirkennes then you are into Russian waters with Murmansk the next port, Russian naval base so not much chance there of a visit!! We fancied doing the Lofoten Islands with our T5 and Puck sometime soon but that is about half way up the Norwegian coast but spectacular scenery. Fingers crossed we can do it 2021>

Nice post , it’s on my list ...I’ve been up there, to the North Cape two years ago , in my VW camper , it was fabulous ...but not yet in the Eriba , perhaps next year VW plus Eriba , there is a gathering of VWs who want to make this Northern Lights trip .DFCE0296-B0A3-4907-84D0-43E0F2E2BC8F.jpeg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Hi, Yes the trip was worth the 20 year wait. We went on the Lofoten ship which is something out of the history books. One more place to visit for me would be Alesund , a bit further south too. The city is an art deco centre as regards the buildings, might be a bit warmer than above the arctic circle too.
