I like the fixed bed. It is taller, offers more underbed storage for lightweight items in transit and as a dumping ground when pitched. It is nice not having to faff about to make the bed up and is very comfortable with its 50mm [not memory] foam topper. The small dinette at the front is fine for the two of us.
We are not exactly large but could do with loosing a few pounds and find it a bit tight around the sink area. The post 2010 530's and in fact all Trolls after this date are 100mm wider and feel a lot bigger. To be honest, if we'd had the space when we ordered our 430 I would have bought a 530. I'm not going to rush out and change. I will consider changing in a few years when grandchildren are on the scene. Keep your options open as to which van comes along, if price, condition and spec are good as you will not be disappointed with either.
