Looking on the bright side, we are thinking about booking a week or so in a smallish campsite within about an hours drive of Worcester.
It’ll probably be in early September and we would ideally like to be by a canal, possibly a CL?
Any ideas or recommendations please?
Thanks
Bob

C&CC Wolverley (Kidderminster) Right next to the canal, with pub serving food. (if we escape lockdown by then)

Bob,
I'm guessing you are aware of https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/ We have found when looking for a site the filter system is very good and the sheer number of reviews ensures you get a good guide on the sites.

Can agree wholeheartedly with Colin. www.ukcampsite.co.uk is a must. Not just for GB campsites but the Continent too and as Colin says, the reviews will help enormously and if you use google earth you can even see the campsite and get the co-ordinates for your sat nav to take you to the site. Good hunting and stay safe.
