Yes if you want to go to the South of France. A guy from that country (who obviously ownes a campsite) said that he books him.
He gave me the name of the campsite in the Vacluse and it looked great except nobody was wearing clothes I didn't get where I am today by not wearing clothes.

That's brilliant Randa - what a great way to use an Eriba. Must show it to Kath as I am a massive music lover - perhaps suggest we convert ours...................!
This might be the last time you hear from me though....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't get into "modern" music Mike but I love Blues,Rock and Jazz.(not trad).Mrs FinnWoody is not a Blues fan and when I listen to jazz she says it's like nothing on earth.I find it quite heavenly myself....
Your van would be too big for conversion but my little Pan Duo would be ideal.I'll have a word with the wife.

Hi Finwoody
You can probably guess I am a big blues and soul fan and have been since the 1960's an have a suitably extensive music collection. But I also love all sorts of other music and my tastes are very eclectic. I do enjoy some jazz but it tends to be Jazz rock or soul jazz. Not over keen on long improvisation that can tend to put me to sleep.
Colin (EribaMotters) put me on to an interesting CD from St Germain "Tourist" which i guess is sort of jazzy & dancy.
Two of my current fave artists are Jason Isbell ( ex of the Drive by Truckers) and a Canadian band The Weather Station (who can have some jazz-like structures) - which shows the variety of what I buy.
Tell you what you convert your Pan and we will play a joint session on some site full of Eribas...........................!

We have stayed at the afore mentioned campsite a few times, it's called Domaine de Belezy . Can imagine them hiring something like that. It's at the base of Mount. Ventoux, stunning location and walking distance of a lovely village, Bedoin. Pricey pitches, however well worth a visit.
Hi Mike.
You really do have a wide variety of musical interests. It made me smile when you mentioned long improvisations.I understand now when Mrs FinnWoody goes to sleep when I have jazz music on.I like the old jazz and blues from 1920's onwards but also Miles Davis,John Coltrane, Chick Corea etc. Early Stones when they pinched the American blues
music and made a fortune, are also a favourite as were Cream.I'm influenced mainly by rhythm (drumming) in music.Me and a couple of mates had a "garage" band (we never gigged) for some years but they refused to play jazz.We were NOT very good but had a great time. Now the arthritis in my left hand makes it difficult to hold the sticks.

Hi Finwoody
sounds a good job for our wives that we've never pitched near each other on the same site...........!
We could probably witter away for hours...........
Yesterday I had delivered "Out of the Blues" by Boz Scaggs (he of the Lido Shuffle" fame from the 70s.) he released in 2018. It is a simple bar room blues album from a good singer backed up by some great seasoned musicians - including Jim Keltner on drums, Willie Weeks on bass, Doyle Bramhall II & Ray Parker Jnr on guitars.
It's not burning any new bridges just a real goodtime blues record - you could imagine sitting in a dark, smoky bar listening to them and tapping your feet.. It's worth checking out.

Mike. Had a listen to Boz Scaggs.I agree - good stuff.Jim Keltner is still a top drummer even in his late 70's.He played on "Knock knock knockin on heaven's door" with Bob Dylan and many other records as a session man.
