Hi folks - just sold the VW T5 - so now have up to £15k for the right Troll - anyone selling one someweher near Wiltshire?!

Happy to say I managed to secure one this afternoon!

He he, just so happened that I put the T5 on last night, it sold at 2pm and a Troll listing was ending at 5 ish. Happy days :)

Weird - I thought I'd answered the other day - but looks like it didn't work. I was really lucky as the VW was listed on Saturday evening and I'd sold it by 2pm Sunday afternoon, just before the Troll ended! The Troll is arriving on Friday so will let you know what I think soon. I was looking for an Alko hitch lock but can't work out which model to get secondhand until it arrives, as have no idea which hitch is on this one. Anyone know if it's likely to be a red type or type 2, or the black super jobby?

Got a type 1 hitch lock and then found our hitch doesn't have the channels that the lugs locate into, so have had to order the kit for this. Maiden voyage in a couple of weeks - hoping the sun's gonna make an appearance!

Interesting, we are in the process of selling our T5 and buying an Eriba. The tow car is a challenge having had van's since the 90's and not being a fan of cars but we will get there. Your van looks great!

i've got an Outlander PHEV which should do okay as a towcar. I was never a fan of caravans really - the Eriba is the only one that has some kind of desirable design - apart from old Mollycroft types etc - was a hard decision to sell the VW but cjhange of circumstances meant i needed a car rather than camper as a day to day vehicle.
