Awning advice

Having just had a brief stay down in Cornwall with our Puck L I realise that my seventy five year old arthritic hands are making lifting the Vango Air Kela Low an increasing problem so I am looking around for a lighter weight substitute. Our rail height is 1.80m. I realise that this is likely to mean an awning with separate poles but that is OK.

Chris,
have a look at the Sunncamp Swift Vareo Van Low. It goes down to 185cm but it should be OK.

Hi Chris

I agree with Colin that the Suncamp Vareo Low is very light and easy to put up, although it doesn't give a massive amount of space. So far with us it has worked well and it is quite versatile in that the front can open out into a porch, if you buy a couple of porch poles (we got ours on EBay). We have used an old Vango tent carpet on the floor to make it more cosy.

I will attempt to attach some pictures of ours in action

Thanks for your advice. Have gone for the Sunncamp rather than the Vango. Will try it out at Corfe site in first May week.
