Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the good wishes, we went to Cornwall for a long weekend to celebrate my 70th, we rented an airBNB at Carbis Bay, just north of St Ives and were joined by my daughter and son in law and my grandaughter Belle who is now 6 months old and getting into spoon feeding apart from bottle feeds. We had a fab time , weather was great and degrees warmer than London, we walked the coastal paths and visited St Ives and had a fantastic meal at the Carbis Bay Hotel, which is were I stayed as a boy every summer for the first ten years of my life. This is being upgraded to five star and will be hosting the G7 in June.We also went to look at a couple of local caravan sites at Hayle, one was shut and the other more of a lodge/ apartment resort than a camp site , but booked up already until end September, with more rules and regs than you can imagine! However it was great to get away for a few days. We have booked four days in Scarborough and 5 days in Bambrough Northumberland for June, looking forward to that.Looking forward to meeting up with you all again someday!
