This looks a great place to find out about Eribas! I've not seen many about but they do catch your eye when you do see them.

Lots for me to learn before I take the plunge. I'm hoping to get one next year when hopefully the market has cooled a tad.

I think my starting point will be to find out which types my car can suitably tow. I'm not keen on changing my motor as it would add an extra complication but I understand some folks buy the car to suit their caravan...I'll read the forum to get informed.

Then I'll go visit a dealer to look at the options available. I should then be a lot clearer where I'm headed (with Eriba in tow).

Cheers Gazza

Welcome to a fellow Staffordshire resident, though we're almost falling over the edge into both Cheshire and/or Shropshire. You may find my old 2011/12 jottings useful info http://eribaliving.blogspot.com/2011/10/eriba-living.html

Welcome Gary. You are in the correct place to ask lots of questions and learn from our mistakes. All caravan prices are on the up at present and to find anything is proving difficult. I've heard of several vans selling within hours.
Dealers do have some stock in, but it sells so quickly you may have a problem having a poke around one to get a feel for what you are after. They also generally know less about the vans than forum members.

Best of luck in narrowing your search down - Colin
