We are looking to buy an Eriba, we seem to be swaying towards long singles so Puck L or Troll 540 may be the way to go

Morphy, Wow you have gone from the smallest to the biggest Eriba in your choice range. We have had both the Puck and the 540 and for us we prefer the 540 much bigger than the Puck. The two long single or massive double suits us the best but others on here will give you their own ideas for which works best for them. The 540 is also a three berth and also the two singles as said can make a massive double or one single large and one ordinary. The 540 has a lot going for it in my opinion good luck in your search. Whilst 'langslaaper' is one facility, there are lots of other things to think about when selecting an Eriba Touring model. Price is probably the first, with new Trolls costing around £28k fully fitted, the budget dictates how old you want to go. Then there's overall size which may be an issue for storage, and weight which can dictate if the towcar has enough capacity. Then think whether you want a van with, or without washroom.
Of the current layout the Triton 410 is a langslaaper without washroom but with a dinette in the nose as a 3rd berth. So too is a Triton 420 but with a washroom and no front dinette because the kitchen is there. Moving to the Trolls you have the 540, already mentioned and the 542 which is effectively a fixed bed 540.
All the current Tourings are the same height, with the Tritons being 20ins longer than the Familia's and the Trolls 20ins longer than the Tritons. Currently Familia and Tritons are 2m wide and Trolls are 2.1m. Up to 2010 Trolls were also mainly 2m wide with just a few 55x layouts at 2.1m.
Be aware that, as standard, Tourings don't have alloys, stone guards, spare wheel, door flynet, wastebin, external storage flap, carpet, sprung cushions/mattresses, sink cover, shower fittings, electric heating, water boiler, battery and charger etc. All these things and more have to be specced by the initial buyer and can be missing if you buy used. In addition the langslaaper models have the option of a standard lounge with a one legged table that clips to the back of the van, or the multi function lounge with different bed arrangement, central chest and a freestanding table.
All these things are worthy of consideration as well as the van's capability to sleep lengthways.
