......for Eribas manufactured between 1996 and circa 2000. In other words, Purple striped, Yellow striped or the 1998 Special smooth skin (Green striped vans don't appear to have front lights?)

The front lights of my 1999 Troll were in a poor state so I decided to try and change them before our first serious trip away. First mistake was that I didn't believe for one minute that I would be able to find and purchase the correct size so went hunting for a pair that would be a close match.

I found these so went ahead and ordered them:- Werbung: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164094937009

Satisfied that I had ordered them in good time so that I could fit them today I casually looked at other trailer lights (perhaps for the rear) and came across these:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/HELLA-2XS-005-6...la-421381272680 Exactly the correct size (62mm x 62mm)

The ones I bought were 65mm x 60mm.

So today I set about fixing the ones I'd bought and although 3mm too long and 2mm too narrow I managed to get them fixed by tilting the bottom of them to rest on the light surround instead of in the light surround. A bit of plumber's mate to bed them in behind before screwing them home.

The biggest problem was the wiring as the existing spade connections were rusted badly and broke off in my hands. As always, there's never enough length in the wire to shorten it and fit new spade connectors so I had to cobble something together,

Won't know if they work until I relocate the tow car to the rear of the house.

If it makes you feel any better, Your second choice are side lights. Red one side, clear the other.

Yes, but I couldn't find the add I stumbled across the other day Steve which had a pair of Hella Marker Lights for about £18.00 so I just used the above ad to show the measurment diagram as much as anything else.

Hello. Someone unfortunately crashed into the corner of my 1997 Triton Jubilee this week, breaking the Hella light, the grey surround, and bashing in the aluminium ☹️. I am able to source a replacement Hella light, but I have searched all over for a replacement grey surround (as clearly shown in Randas picture above) but with no joy whatsoever. Does anyone know if anyone stocks these still or can get hold of them? Thanks

With a bit of super glue, fibreglass matting on the back, filler and sanding, and some hammerite paint to give the textured effect, the surround will live another day. I must also say that Aviva, as the insurance underwriters were excellent and the 410 is currently being repaired.
