Being vanless at present we are shortly off on a break to the Lakes.

As a choral director and singing teacher Mrs SDA hasn't been working since early March last year when she called a halt to all her choirs before the government restrictions were announced.

Her first booking is for a two day break running a 5 person course in strictly social distanced conditions in an adult education college and they've given us a bungalow in the grounds for a couple of days

On the way up, we will, as is obligatory, call in at ALV, Tebay to mooch the Eribas.

After Mrs SDA's assignment we'll head south through the Lakes to the CMC site at Coniston, where we've booked a few nights in a Glamping Pod, which has it's own facilities. We did have a five night break in a cedar lodge at the Old Oaks, Glastonbury a couple of years back, so we'll see how the CMC offering compares.
