Rear/front table fixings

We've got a 2013 model Troll 530 with dinnette front beds, i.e. not a fixed bed
Around the front dinette/sleeping area at night there is a nice shelf under the windows, several cubby holes and even a 240v socket, whereas at the back it is devoid of anything to put a few nic-nacs let alone a cup of tea!

Wondering if it's possible get the plastic rail fitting that is at the end of the table itself that slips into the aluminum track, so I can then make a small narrow shelf. Otherwise any other solutions? Could be useful during the day when even the shorter table might be in way.

If you search there are a number of examples but IIRC they all require some form of front support as the rail won't hold anything fully horizontal.

I had nothing to do on this hot afternoon

Clive,
LeisureShopDirect sell the table trim in plastic, but as Andy says you will need further support to hold up the front edge of your shallow table. You might be able to source a couple of pivot stays or simply cut and screw a pair of suitably shaped triangular steadies out of 18mm plywood to the underside of your shelf. This would be my preferred option with the rear wall being at a slight angle as you could get the shelf to sit perfectly horizontal.

Thanks, yes I was also thinking of some cabinet bracket or simple trianular shaped steady. It does'nt need to be that strong.

I bought a strip of the plastic fitting which fits into the table groove from leisureshopdirect and fixed it to a small shelf. Works perfectly for a cup of tea or a wine glass.
