Creaking bed in Puck L 230GT

Our Eriba uses poles between the two bench bases to support the board-backed seat cushions in the centre of the bed and the seat back cushions then rest on the (lightweight) mdf panels on the edges of the bed. The mdf panels seem to flex quite a bit when you give them a push and while some are supported by a wooden frame fixed to the back this is not the case with all of them, and all of them creak something awful when you move around at night!

We lie lengthways as opposed to widthways on it as I am way too tall to fit across the van. This was the main reason for seeking out one of these models with this bed arrangement.

Any suggestions on how to improve this? Are we experiencing a one-off or have others had similar issues?

Thanks!

You have to sleep lengthwise in our Puck .The previous owner said it creaked and had stuck some sticky backed rubber stuff which may be draft excluder along the vertical edge. I'm not as heavy as him but it doesn't creak.
