On the cadge - blatant or what?

When I joined the Camping and Caravanning Club some years ago, I signed up for the paperless option as I only thought we would be using the Chertsey site when visiting our granddaughter at university nearby. As it turned out, we found the CCC sites preferable to and cheaper with the old gits' discount than CMC sites. I keep meaning to change my membership so that I get the book etc annually but what with illness and other things going on over the past couple of years I never got round to it.

Does anyone have a recent copy of the C&CC Site Seeker book and map that they have finished with and wouldn't mind passing on? We need to plan a few sites for an upcoming jaunt and it's easier to do with the documents than online.

I'd be only too happy to reimburse postage.

I'm sure all the information you get from the printed booklets is available on line at the C&CC website? I'm a member but use the on line facility rather than the books......which may well be out of date.

Sincere thanks to Babs for so kindly sending me her 2021-22 CCC book and map. Received this morning.

I really hate planning itineraries particularly in the UK but now I have no excuses.

Suggestions for Wales, anyone?

Brecon Beacons and Hay on Wye

Although a small country you would probably need three trips to get the full flavour. Above I've suggested South West Wales. Then there will be the Ceredigion Coast and finally North Wales.

To explore South West Wales in a limited time I would suggest a campsite in or near the Gower. Then much of Pembrokeshire is reachable by car on day trips (about an hour or so).
Then a stop near to Brecon to take in the Beacon Beacons and the Welsh Boarders.

Have fun.
