I wonder if anyone else has noticed the dramatic increase in ball games being played on caravan sites this summer. We have stayed on sites throughout June July and August and have experienced football, tennis, cricket, even rugby next to our pride and joy. Glaring whilst placing hands on hips (Basil Fawlty style) does the trick sometimes and I have considered parking the car on their “pitch” but I’d appreciate any other tips. How do you stop what I always considered complete anathema close to caravans. We’re still travelling so I’ll test any ideas however off-the-wall.

I hate ball games near my van and will go and have a word. There are normally play areas on CMC sites, so bloody use them.
I have had a couple of times over the years, where I needed to have a word with idiots who think it's ok.
We would never let our children play ball around the caravans.

We try to avoid the school holidays, it's even worse at the moment as everyone appears to have bought a caravan/motorhome with the staycation.

What's "complete anathema" and what sort of ball do you use ?

Definitely more A holes on sites these days. Roll on them all being allowed back on planes and buggering off to foreign beaches again.
