Replacement windows

We had the unfortunate experience of loosing the toilet window on our 2004 Triton 320GT en route to a campsite, only discovering that it hd gone when we arrived. Can only hope nobody on the road was put in any danger. A temporary repair with tape and plastic film has kept us mobile but our problem is trying to find someone to source and fit a new window. As we are based in East Anglia, so there are no ERIBA dealers on the doorstep. Lowdens in Nottingham are the nearest but say they can't help as their policy is to restrict work to customers who bought caravans from them - at least until next year. So we keep trying.
Any suggestions would be welcomed

Hi both and welcome to Eribafolk. When you say you lost the window did the whole thing go including the hinges or was it just the acrylic window?

Fitting these windows is an easy job. Just a few minutes with a screwdriver. Finding one might be a little more difficult but apart from the two front windows on Eribas, the others are probably the same as they are on many other makes of caravan.

Some of our members have had some luck by contacting these guys:- https://www.caravanbreakers.net/replacement-windows/

I'm guessing your opaque acrylic washroom window is the same size as kitchen windows in other Eribas and some other caravan models.

Thanks Randa
We lost acrylic window complete with hinges and catches. The widow stay remained but the end had broken off. I think you may be right about it being a standard size. I will check that out. Great to have contact with you.

We lost a window earlier this year. An email to Jandi resulted in some very helpful advice. Jean ordered a replacement from Hymer at a delivered price far lower than even the cheapest "might fit" second hand item. The replacement arrived and was fitted, the only thing to note is that the modern windows are a different colour to those on a 2006 van if that would bother you.
Jandi worth a try.

I'm one of Caravan Breakers (Wales) satisfied customers as they supplied me with a s/h front window for our Triton. It wasn't cheap but what on an Eriba is?

They would be my first port of call.

Morval Caravans of Hartlebury, Kidderminster.

Found and fitted a new rear window to my Troll. expensive, but not as much as some of the Eriba dealers (if they thought they could get one)
Hymer dealers either quoted silly prices or said the item was not available.
