One thing would stop me from opting for any refillable gas system and that is that service stations appear to be gradually doing away with the relevant pumps.

yeah i wondered about the refillable Safefill bottles but for the investment versus how much i personally can get away from work and in particular i don't think there are as many gas cars around and so consequently re-fill stations will drop off.
