If you know your Eribas, you know the early, smooth skin models are rare beasts. The outside is made from sheets of smooth aluminium rather than the dimples sheets that are used on the later models.
It’s a three-berth model with the kitchen unit running along the side, opposite the door/wardrobe. At the rear end are two bench seats that would fit four people around the table and then converts into a double bed. At the front end is a pair of single seats and table that convert into the single bed or a two-seater sofa when required.
The van has been kept uncovered through the spring/summers by the previous owner and during the past two weeks with me. It's rained pretty heavy and I can’t see any leaks. Windows are the correct/original single glazed glass (not plastic). The openers work fine. Door lock is original and works fine.
Interior cupboards, seat frames, work tops and tables are all original and in good condition.
Seats have been tastefully recovered along with complementary curtains. Again – these were done by previous owner so all around 4 years old and in good condition with no marks or tears.
According to the previous owner, the fridge works on 240v only (I can confirm this – it also made ice in the ice tray when tested). It should work on gas also I think but I was going to get the system checked before I tried it. Original heater is in position but again, this is not tested as I’ve not had the gas system checked.
Previous owner used it many times - most recently about a month ago to the lakes from Colchester. It's then been brought up to Stoke, tows fine and everything (expect the small running lights) work OK.
Ply floor is generally solid. The bottom most layer is flaking off in some places. I was just going to clean up and bond/screw new ply to the bottom of it when I cleaned up and painted the chassis. The chassis is solid apart from a small section near the door. This has been repaired (and is solid) but needs cleaning up/painting
There is a floor section just at the doorway that that has been cut out and made solid with ply/checker plate by the previous owner. .
12v lights and tap working off the leisure battery. The lights also work off 240v and there are several 240v sockets in the van.
Gas hob works. Pop top is generally good, with one small section of stitching around one of the zips that has come away.
It has the knock on the front corner but it’s not structural (and not seen from inside) – see the photos for details.
Van based in Stoke (ST9 post code) and as I work from home I’m generally available most of the time day/evening 7 days a week.
Let me know if you have any questions or need any more specific photos
Thanks
