Getting water out of pipes/heater

With regards to draining my caravan. I've just opened all the drain taps both under kitchen (2015 320) and at the very back where we have the electrical barrel type heater + opened up the taps. some water has run out but i know from previously that its difficult to get it all out. I drove down the rd one year & with all the jostling more water ran out. I might try blowing into the taps to help the dregs out of the pipes, just wondered if anyone else had perfected it.

If you use the forum search facility you should find a fair bit on this topic. I open all valves and taps prior to last return trip home and leave them open over winter. I've fitted an isolator switch on the pump so I can do this and still leave electrics on in van.
Others have had success with blowing water out by using an inflated balloon over the taps and the most recent idea is to use your inflatable awning pump [and a bit of cycle innertube] instead.

Yeah i had meant to drive with bungs & taps open after my last holiday but weather & family problems meant we didn't get away hence me rushing out this morning to drain things.
