Just wondered if anyone keeps a humidity gauge in there caravan & what’s an ideal upper level reading. I suppose with having a roof vent & vents through the floor the readings won’t be vastly different to outside

I wouldn't worry as I doubt one would not mean anything, for the reasons you have stated. Also remember humidity levels are lower in the winter as cold air holds less moisture.
