I was recently gifted a 50cl bottle of Glrnfiddich Malt Whisky Liqueur. I'm not into liqueurs so I thought I'd see what it was worth before gifting it on. Good job I did as they stopped producing it in 2011 and it sells for between £380 and £440 a bottle.
I know I can go down the auction route with 2 x specialist companies in Scotland showing slaes at £160/£200, but does anybody know of anything, specialist shop/club etc within reach of a Liverpool postcode where it could find a home.

Great story Colin and an inflation beater if ever I saw one. I know that if you don't succeed with a local sale that McTears in Glasgow do a regular Whisky sale - combine it with a trip up here!

With a bit of digging about I came up with https://www.marklittler.com/how-to-sell-...auction%20house
It looks like I pay £20 for secure carriage and then registration, listing and sales fees of about £20. I've started the process and they say it should go in the December auction. Result.
