Hi - have just had a call from AL - our Troll has arrived in the uk - gulp - now some serious final sorting out to do - want an awning but which one? I like the look of the Movera Spree but wondered if anyone had any views on it before I spend the cash? AL say it's not the easiest to put up being curved but I can't find any videos to show how it goes up? It looks like it's probably the same as the Unico Bologna & the Fortex Aronde in terms of putting up - anyone with any experience? Tia x

Wow, so now the fun starts. Bet you can't wait to get on the road.
Personally don't know much about the Movera Spree awning but I understand that Jandi is a Movera stockist and they are always really helpful so if no one else comes up with the answers, give them a call.

Thanks Randa France. I called Jandi today - my goodness they know their stuff - really informative but even they couldn't tell me a lot about the Spree. I am now in a quandary - I love the Fortex Aronde but it is pricey - the traditional type awnings are cheaper but am not so keen on the shape - ho hum - will have to sleep on this one x

At the end of the day it's surely best going with what you like. Yes, it's a big outlay but a good awning will last you for years and it's a godsend, especially on those wet and windy days.
Our conventional shaped awning must be 15 years old by now but it still holds its shape and stands up well to the weather and I daresay the new shape ones will too.
The big problem we find with a heavy fabric awning is that although they are very cosy in bad weather they are a nightmare to dry out and are very heavy and bulky to carry, especially when wet.
We are seriously considering a lightweight "drive away" awning which will probably be very easy to tour with but if we did go down that road I wonder if we would be as satisfied with it as we are with the heavy gauge one? Decisions, decisions...

Surely the awnings you have mentioned must all be erected in a similar manner;
