Welcome Peter. I owned a Familia 310 for 6 summers. It was used by my wife and me and was perfect for the two of us, except for the lack of a toilet. We left the bed at the back set up permanently and where the gas fire originally was we kept a porta potti. A factory fixed bed of the Edition 60 is a great advantage as the extra height is a benefit for getting in/out and offers more storage.
We originally towed it with a diesel VW Touran and then a diesel Skoda Yeti. Both of these vehicles are based on the same platform as your Caddy so you should have no problem
If you could stretch to a Triton 430 then this would be better. I doubt you would notice any difference between towing this and a Familia.Back in 2017 we were on a French site where a couple had a Caddy towing a 1200kg Troll.
At present I tow a 1200kg Triton with a 1.5 petrol Audi A3, again based on the same platform as your Caddy. This in fact tows better than the previous mentioned diesels.
