Hello all,

We're new to caravans, having gone down the motorhome route. Our needs have changed a little now though. Since buying the motorhome several years ago my wife has developed psoriatic arthritis and now finds her walking range severely reduced, restricting our trips out from campsites substantially. The obvious solution was a caravan so that we would still have transport but neither of us liked the idea of a big white box, neither to tow or to have parked in the drive between trips. Eribas seemed to be the perfect solution. Even more convinced after taking a close look at several and so have bought one. A 2004 Troll 550 GT in lovely condition. It's just having a motor mover fitted at the moment, so hopefully we'll pick it up in a couple of weeks. Will be towing with a Freelander 2. Can't wait!

Maybe not a brilliant start, got the model wrong!! It's a Troll 550 GT not 540 GT!

Good choice - we also have a 540 GT and love it.

This will be our sixth season with it.

Just remember if you are tall to put your hand on top of the door frame when you get in and out. This avoids the "ouch" as you scrape the top of your head as you get out of the door.
