Just been to collect our 540 which has had some much needed improvements installed by John England on the Wirral .
1) Ultraheat
2) Water level indicator
3) Battery charge indicator + 2 USB sockets
4) 2 additional plug sockets.

John, I think its a nice little add on and together with all the other bits you did it makes the van so much more convenient in use.
Just to let you know the new engagement bar arrived for the powrtouch mover and it has solved the problem.

We were going to have ultra heat fitted at AV Tebay but found the cost prohibitive. Can you share how much these improvements cost and can we put them on a 2018 van and not affect the warranty?

They are not cheap, even if you install it yourself; north of £300!

I installed it myself a couple of years ago, it's easy enough if you have basic DIY skills.

Just had a quick look at the website. I can't se if it comes with the fan? Did you put blown air into the front of the van and if so where did you route the pipe?

Something to bear in mind with the ultraheat element, It is a common for it to cut out when the controls are on the wardrobe above the fire, I had this issue initially when it would cut out when the inside of the wardrobe reached the set temperature. You can buy a temperature override kit, it just plugs in at the bottom and then the thermocouple bulb is strapped the the bottom of the gas fire. It works really well, I got mine from Arc systems, it came with a very easy to follow instruction sheet.
