Came across this today...

https://cincinating.com/products/12v-200...5ZcyjVEW_FzYFOg

Sound too good to be true? A lithium battery of this capacity is normally upwards of £500 and Renogy is an established brand.

Can’t see anywhere that says only available in the USA. In fact it states express worldwide shipping. I’ve been through the entire purchase procedure bar giving my credit card details without any problems. The site even offered me an additional 5% discount coupon as a new customer.

Be careful. The URL 'cinicating.com' is not 'costco.com' and the grammar used in the description of the battery is not up to usual Costco standard. I'd want to be sure I was dealing with Costco before parting with dosh.

Agreed.

Costco.com bears only a passing similarity to the site in the post above, and searching on it doesn't show any 12V lithium batteries like that.

Indeed... a bit of digging reveals that 'cincinating.com' has origins in China and scores a measly 1% trust rating on one of the scam checking websites. So, as the the saying goes - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Here's the same item on Renogy's own website -

https://uk.renogy.com/12v-200ah-lithium-...XgaAmhpEALw_wcB

A snip at £949..!!!
