Ha Ha, me too. Trouble is my "stainless steel" stops have gone rusty.

Stainless steel will rust, even the better grades will tarnish, although the marine grade is very resistant. If you look at your kitchen stainless steel you will notice it may say 18/8 or 18/10, a higher grade. The first number refers to the chromium and the second to nickel. When you take cutlery out of your dishwasher you may well find tarnish marks on it from the aggressive action of the cleaning chemicals.

Had the stainless end stops analysed, and they are 304 stainless odd wipe and they will be fine.

I think there are very few of us who have fitted the bottom foot bracket for the Caravanstore.
I did it on my Famila, but only ever used the set-up once. It was a fiddly to get the fit of the foot into the bracket and clearance on the door was back to being tight as the roof angle was lower.

Having fitted these brackets...I now find they are a complete waste of time, the newer version which is 2.4 deep makes it impossible not to foul the door.
What we need is someone to fit the brackets near the waist band and find the optimum height required or find a way of locking the roller at a point which suits the lower bracket. All too late for me, mine are just decorative and seemed a good idea at the time. it wasn't.
