Last weekend, my husband tried to turn the tap off with by turning it as usual, but it wouldn’t. It turns off with the electric switch. Two things, where can we buy a new one? And, we are going to try replace the washers but are we missing anything else It all looks complete but not sure why it just stopped when it has been working fine.

Possibly the micro switch in the tap is faulty.
You can test that by disconnecting one of the wires that lead to the tap. It's only 12Vdc so no personal risk.

You might be able to find a pattern complete tap at a reasonable price.

Hi, if your tap is similar to these, made by Comet, I have a new unopened beige one which I've had for yonks and likely never to use that I could pop in the post to you.

If the ends of the wires on your tap have spade connectors on the ends I'll crimp them on the new tap - just let me know whether yours are male or female.
