Does anyone know if the little red towing light which indicates that the fridge is on whilst towing actually powers the fridge or is it solely an indicator.
Ours has stopped working although I know that the engine needs to be revved to start the process.
It's difficult to tell if the fridge is being kept cold during journeys or not. Upon arrival after about a three hour tow the fridge is still cold enough.

Roger, just to totally confuse you, has it actually stopped working as I seem to remember it switches on/off, with increase in revs as you've mentioned.

Yes,the red light no longer works but I can't say the same for the fridge in towing mode.

Thanks John. So it's an either or? If the bulb has gone it doesn't necessarily mean that the power isn't getting through to the fridge.
As you say though if the fault is with the car or the fuse then the power isn't getting through to the bulb or the fridge
