Brittany Ferries Regulations

Your date(s) of vaccination must be specified and your final dose must have been administered within 9 months prior to travel. If you completed your vaccination (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) more than 9 months prior to travel, you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab.

I have read and reread the above on Brittany Ferries Website and I am still not sure if " our booster was in November 2021 does this cover us for travel in September this year"
Does anyone have the correct answer?

Presumably your talking about entering France.
They do agree with the government's advice here

Looks like you are considered as unvaccinated after 9 months as stated
"If more than 9 months have elapsed since your initial course, and you have not since received a booster, you will be considered unvaccinated and must follow the rules detailed below."

There isn't anything there which specifies when the booster has to have been administered.
The final dose and the booster aren't the same thing.

Quote: Steve and Debbie wrote in post #4That doesn't matter. It says specifically in the original post that if more than nine months has elapsed, they must show proof of having had a booster.
Yes but they are travelling in September which will be 11 months after then.
Which they can.
In November last year.
Nowhere does it specify the date of the booster; just that they needed to have had it (and show proof of having had it) because more than nine months has elapsed since the final dose of the original course.
The booster is not the final dose of the original course.

"with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) more than 9 months prior to travel, you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab", THIS IS WHAT IT STATES.
We had both of the 2dose vaccine and in NOVEMBER last year had a booster, so I believe we can prove the booster but would like someone who has been on the ferry t and entered France in similar circumstances

Brian, we are off end of August with Brittany Ferries. We both had our booster in November and I read it that we can travel. If you are in any doubt then why not e-mail Brittany Ferries.

NHS are offering a spring booster for over 75's. I presume that's a 4'th jab

I was going to say that. Surely, you should be having another booster? We were "boosted" last December and will be due another one this June. That way, there would be no confusion.

Well, that would resolve the problem, Islay, but in the UK only those people with underlying health issues and aged over 75 are entitled for the second booster at the moment. I was looking for what wil happen to the next age group (that I fall in) the other day, but there is no annoucement yet. Depends what age Bryn is - I'm sure he is far too young to qualify...
