Lock n Level
I have taken the decision to purchase a Lock N Level air bag to simplify on-site levelling. We do use CL sites regularly and have often found they are generally not level. My only niggle/concern with this system is if over time the bag developed a slow puncture.
I know this is a big if, but if it did loose pressure on site then the weight of the van would be transferred on to the corner steadies. Would this “bend” the chassis.?
My option would be once lifted to the correct height by the airbag I could place my scissor jack under the axel on the lifted side and wind it up by hand into contact with the axel, without taking the weight of the van,as a back up.
Axel stands would work but I have not found any low enough for the Troll.
Do any members use the Lock n Level system.? Am I being over cautious, I spent a working life in engineering and fortunately or unfortunately it has left me with a what if ? attitude to design. Think risk assessment combined with OCD

We bought one at the show this year and in the instructions, it says that if you are using the Lock n Level on hard standing with sharp gravel, then put a rubber mat underneath it.
I found a thick exterior doormat in the Aldi centre aisle which is the right size.
Other than that the material Lock n Level is manufactured from is thick and looks petty tough to me. So should be fine on grass and smooth gravel hard standing

Thanks for that Alan,
I watched a guy level a twin axel bungalow on wheels last summer, and it looked effortless. I’ve not had a chance to check one out in the flesh, but will use a thick mat as you suggested.

We've used one quite a lot - with a mat underneath on hard standing gravel - use a couple of rubber car mats. It wasn't a puncture but at one point, after a lot of use, we did become aware that we were very slowly going down in the world. It was slow so we pumped it up again and carried on. I contacted the company to buy a new one but they kindly repaired what was probably a worn valve for a reasonable fee and (fingers crossed) it's been OK since.
You are not alone, I will not trust an air system, when hydraulic starts to leak it is visible and action can be taken, I will continue with my scissor jack under the axle and the electric drill, it is also quicker.

Hi Stewart,
thanks for your reply, nice to see another 535 owner on the site we seem to be in the minority.? I have been looking at a previous post of yours regards damp, have you had a problem.? Ours in a 2019 model and I believe that there were ingress problems around the rear window, though thankfully ours is dry.
Also I thought Jandi had closed? Over the years they have been great for spares and help, I want to add some locker check straps and will contact them if they are still around.
