An interesting post on the old Facebook about the security of the Nemesis Ultra, Apparently a known issue in the trade.


Bad news, good news, but maybe bad news. I made the stupid mistake of moving my Pan Duo forgetting the wheel lock was on. Only a foot or so, and only with me gently easing it on level ground. Once it became clear (very quickly) it had stopped...I stopped too. But the Nemesis Ultra would then NOT unlock. Oh dear. After some thought, some checking online, and LOTS of WD40....still nothing. Then my wife said how about taking out this little (grub) screw. It allowed just enough space to get a grip on the extended wheel nut, and it turnrned, slightly. A pair of locking pliers got it moving better and off it came, releasing the whole wheel lock. VERY relieved having read of others experiences. So, Bad...the lock on the Nemesis is pretty vulnerable to bending. Good, there is a way to get them off. Bad, perhaps it was a bit too easy to get it off?
