It’s in the A-frame (drawbar) at the front. The new floor is on a new Knott chassis and the longer front allows for proper clearance for the bike frame many have installed as an option. The internal and external body dimensions I believe are unchanged

I believe the difference is in the drawbar length as the chassis is now in-house manufactured and not bought in from Alko. You will not have any extra internal space.

… apart from the deeper cubby space at the back where the floor isn’t bevelled Colin!

But you cannot use that bit. When you grind the back end of the caravan floor off everything would fall out onto the road.

Old Rocker… if you’re reversing onto a sloping drive that’s not the case. It is more likely to ground as the distance from the axle is the same but the rear is closer to the ground.

(I’m not criticising your choice Simon) :-)

I've odrered a 2023 Troll 540 and find it is 5.99m overal length as apposed 5.79m with previous models. It shouldn't affect where I store it but I wonder where the extra 20mm appears inisde the caravan
. I think the newer Eriba’s have a longer drawbar

Inspector Gadget I was responding to the question of where the extra length is. I know all too well from my own experience the problem of catching the under wheel carrier when going down a slope forwards, my carrier regularly caught the ground as the ground levelled out coming down my sloping drive
