I would personally find it difficult to justify paying so much money for a new Troll. By the time you to add a mover and some form of awning you are up to £32K+. I am also constantly amazed at the vans leaving factory with extreme panel wobble, something that stands out even more on all silver Trolls with larger panels and something you really would need to look at on a sunny day.. I know of own buyer who refused a van as it was so bad.
The 535 layout is nice, but I'd want a fixed bed. I'd also want the combi water/space heater to run on electric.to match what now seems to be a fixed fridge issue. reported by previous owners of early vans and one dealer.
At the end of the day it is personal choice though, and if you like it and you have the money then buy it. Life is to short to turn around and say "what if"
How about a Feeling for £5K less though? They do lack the character but are far better screwed together.

Are the Feelings/Nova Lights really better 'screwed together' than Tourings?
The external panels are simpler and much easier to assemble, have less joints, are unitary and are unlikely to have panel ripple. So probably less bits to screw together. But that holds true of all UK produced vans too, though none are poptop.
However the internals have the same appliances fitted into furniture made by the same factory and assembled in the same plant, possibly on the same line by the same staff. So why should they do a better job on Feelings than they do on Tourings?
I had nothing to do on this hot afternoon
But to settle down and write you a line

The 535 is the best caravan I have owned since 1980. We have the fixed bed, uprated upholstery, and electric combi. The larger fridge is excellent and the smaller shelved wardrobe space suits us fine. Huge advantages are the self closing drawers under the hob instead of cupboard. Obviously these are personal observations. I have to say that I am not interested in panel ripples. I am not out to impress anyone. The price is the price. You don't have to buy it but if you want it and can afford it, go for it.

The cabinetry design, materials and fittings used differ from the Touriing. When you step inside one, feel the door blind in your hand is attached to a sturdy frame, open cupboards that do not wobble and raise a bed base you start to feel or at the very least perceive you have stepped up a grade.
It is true that you cannot get factual information to compare on product failures, warranty repairs etc as sales in the UK are near non-existent. It is in this are that the dealer comments across the numerous dealers we visited in Holland need to be taken into play. The Touring is over priced and the quality is not what it should be.
