Seals Direct Gutter strip

I have a routine before I pull away from the site. On Monday it failed me. As the title says, I use a seals direct gutter strip. I walked around my Puck and passed it twice without taking it off. I didn’t realise this until I parked it at home and saw it when I next went out of the front door. So, it gets 10/10 from me for staying on from Tewkesbury to Oxford. In speeds not exceeding the speed limit, of course.

I so nearly did that on one of my trips this summer...

But then I also did the opposite - I put up my Kampa Pop Air Pro, added the bedroom extension and the sun canopy - and then realised i hadn't put the gutter strip on first... Well, I discovered that you can put it on afterwards, by standing on a box at either end, then reaching out through the pop top ventilation hole to finish pushing it on... Phew

I thought the gutter strip could be left on.

The supplied Kampa gutter strip is left on by a few as it is such a pig to put on. Like myself a lot of us buy the seals direct version as it is very easy to put on and off and very effective.

I use the Kampa strip and put it on at the start of the season and don't take it off until I put the winter cover on.

I can get it on easily now using silicone spay and a pair of gardening gloves. I think I just leave it on as a habit from the time that I hadn't mastered this dark art.........................

I, too, have the Seals Direct version - it works really well and is easy to put on/take off.

it's just remembering to do both those things that's my problem...
