Coffee machines
I know it has been asked before, but Can I use my 1 cup Tassimo on hook ups ? I enjoy the practically with the pods and the variety. TIA

It looks like they are 1300 watt, so less than 6 amps. You should be OK on the vast majority of UK sites as they are usually 16 amp supply. If you are limited to 10 amp I would make sure any Hot water heater, Remoska, Toaster, etc was turned off.

Being a Luddite by name, i have a gas kettle, a gas toaster { grill } Wot,s a Remoska ! { just joking } The nearest I get to that is my folding frying pan for the gas cooker.
that also means that i need to factor in a box or two of coffee pods !

I use the smallest Tassimo coffee machine (it also does tea and hot chocolate from pods). I also have a Lavazza milk frother. All work well - even on 10A supplies - so far!
I also have a 12v Lavazza coffee maker made by Handpresso (runs off a car type 12v socket), but haven't needed to use it yet! Rather hoping I will get to sometime...

If you run out of ice blocks from your onboard fridge, then you can always improvise. After all, who likes warm champagne...

Good idea with the Tassimo or nespresso.
Just a note for those sites with 16A hook-up; the consumer unit ( in recent models anyway) has 10A breakers as I have experienced over the last 2 weeks in Pembrokeshire!
I was cooking outside as usual so it would have been much easier to reset the site supply rather than rummaging amongst Mrs Gadget’s wardrobe with greasy hands.😅

My best beloved who is not able to fully function without his morning coffee was delighted to receive a splendid gift from his children at Christmas it's a Conqueco portable coffee machine with integral rechargeable battery comes complete with mains charger and 12v cigarette type charger too. I'd about the size of a 1 litre bottle ,compatible with original Nespresso capsules and l'or espresso capsules it's a marvellous thing. Will make 3 coffees from a full battery charge and can be used whilst hooked up via the 12v adapter. Think they got it from Amazon.

Looks great!
I’ve got a Wacaco hand-pump version so it lasts about 3-4 cups before my arms loose their charge! 😂
TBH there’s a scalding risk with the one I have when you fit the hot water recepticle, but it’s worth it.

.
I also use the Wacaco, great bit of kit. Compact, makes a very good cup of espresso and no electricity required. It can be used with either ground coffee or pods if you have the two different heads. Also great in hotels when the instant in the room doesn't cut the mustard
I have a hob milk steamer for flat whites..... sometimes the faff is worth it!

Hi Islam,
You pour boiling water into a little cup and screw the unit together. - This is where the tricky bit is, trying to do that and not get scalded.🙂
A tea towel helps.

I'm Islay, not Islam LOL
So you need gas or electricity to boil the water! I use a French press or an Italian moka pot.
