The plastic 'Veneta' catch that holds the van entrance door open soon becomes loose with use to the point where the slightest breeze will slam the door shut.

A simple 'temporary' fix which should last years is simply to add a piece of electrician's insulating tap as shown in the picture. For added security I fitted two pieces of tape to ours and the catch now holds the door very securely indeed.
