Being selfish Broad Lane demise is a shame as it is/was my closest agent. Might have to go to Nottingham or Glossop or find a mobile who can do eriba warrenty etc.

John, your hands are tied. The only engineer who can do Eriba warranty work is an Eriba dealer. If your van is less than 6 years old your "Eriba Water Ingress" test has to be done by an Eriba dealer every year, within a set time frame/window. This is a water test, respray with underseal and Eriba recorded certificate. Basically you are buying a years insurance policy each year.
Your Eriba does not have to have an Eriba engineer/dealer service it each year, but I would advise you use somebody who is registered through https://www.approvedworkshops.co.uk/ and keep a record of it.
To complicate matters further, it is very difficult to get your Eriba serviced or Water Ingress tested by a dealer who did not supply it. Some owners cannot get an Eriba dealer to take on the work Eriba say they must have done.

My personal opinion is that this is an appalling state of offers and says a lot about how Eriba treat the customer.

In my case I have been lucky. I live in Devon and collected my new van from Wandahome in Yorkshire. They have now ceased trading as an Eriba dealer. I have got another dealership to take on the yearly Water Ingress test each year. I will service the van one year against the Eriba service schedule and they will service the van every other year.

THanks Colin
This is exactly what I am finding. Glossop won't touch it , Lowdhams are too busy. I am now in contact with 3a's in Wales who have booked us in for a service.

The only two dealers that I am aware of that do not practice the "hard look you did not buy it from us" approach are Leisure First of Poole in Dorset and Kool Classics near Eastbourne.
Even when you find a dealer who will do the work, the original supplier or otherwise, they usually advise booking the work for the following year as you drive away, ie 12 months in advance.

Hi Colin
We bought ours from Cameron at Poole but that was too far for us to go for a service. Adventure Leisure at Tebay provided all our servicing and warranty work for us. We got a bit of gentle friendly grief from Mike the owner about not buying from them but they still did it for us.

As our Troll is now 8 years old and well out of warranty this was the first year that we haven't used them but had it serviced locally. Perhaps they have decided not to service vans bought from other dealers....?
