Hi. Very new to Eriba ownership, so have many questions and plans to explore the site. Most pressing question please. Does the Floe system work with Eriba's? We have a 2023 Touring 542

Welcome Steve, i'm not sure what you mean by "Does the Floe system work with Eriba's?"

Hi,
Floe is a piece of kit to blow-down the water system.
I don’t think it will work because of the inboard water tank and the open-necked filler port.

We usually open all the drain taps (there could be 5 or more) and pull out the drain inside the tank. Open taps after turning off the 12v master switch.
We do this just before setting off home on our last trip so that the van movement shakes the last drips out. (Just be careful with the tank drain as you could get surface water or road grime pulled into the tank - a piece of paper towel or a cloth helps fill the hole.

Steve.

Ps didn’t you write a winterising thread Colin?

I probably did write something. I do exactly the same as you with my water system, with valves on the electric Truma heater open both sides an bung out of the 35L tank. The only exception is I have put an isolation switch on the pump so I can leave the 12v on when home but the taps open.

I fitted a switch too. Removed it now as the salvage man is due to visit soon.
