Wheel Arch Clearance

We have a 2014 Triton 420 with a 1200Kg axle, which we have owned for 3 years. At our service earlier in the year, our Service Engineer(local engineer) commented that the wheel arch clearance looked quite tight and this was something we may need to look at in the not to distant future. I’ve attached a couple of pictures, both sides are very similar. At the closest point, there’s approx 20mm gap between the wheel arch and the side of the tyre. We’ve done a few trips this year and it doesn’t appear to have changed much, and we have no rubbing.

Where we store the caravan there are a couple of other Eribas, which he used as a comparison. These definitely have a greater clearance, however, both are newish Trolls, on a 1400kg axle. Therefore, I suspect would sit a bit higher?
I noticed on another thread, Colin had commented something similar, and then also doing a search, it looks like Colin again! had asked a similar question previously when ownining a Triton.
So Colin, is our gap similar and did you ever have any issues? Also, It appears your van was relatively new when you asked the question.
Has anyone else had any similar observations?
Thanks Chris

They look comparable to my old Triton on the clearance.

Interesting as in both cases, they appear to have factory fitted alloys so there should be no concern about the wrong size tyres.

Thank you both for replying. Interesting answers, sort of two opposites. Both similar aged vans as well.
I have also chatted with Leisure First, from whom we purchased the caravan. They said that it looks like the level of clearance was within the margin of error depending on type, layout, usage, etc.
I will chat with the Service Engineer, but my thoughts are, what we are seeing is not a disaster, and there are other Eribas sitting at similar heights. But, it is something I shall need to keep an eye on.

I've just found this. My 2017 Triton 430 on a 1200kg axle at less than one year old. I think it shows how little clearance is fairly common.
