I'm back after I had to re-register. For the life of me, I could not remember my username and password. Checked google password manager, but it failed me as well. So back on forum again via a new registration.
Nice to be back!
We're just about to retire and head off to Europe (probably France mostly) for a few months at the end of April in our beloved 2019 Troll 535.

Hi Anne and welcome back . Did you perhaps not visit for at least 6 months? If you have visited so your name has not been deleted you may be able to spot it by clicking on the "members" on the bottom of this page. If you have been deleted then that's the one thing that we can't help anyone with so please keep your user name and password safe.

Better still, don't log out after your visits. Then you'll automatically be logged in when you return.

Usernames and passwords, what a pain. I have a word document, 3 sides of A4, in a secret place with my list. I've resorted to saving it as a pdf with an obscure name whilst my lovely other half has photographed it and done similar.

Colin, consider using KeePass

It is free and open source. No internet is required to use it. If you install a 'local' copy you can keep it soley on a usb stick and carry it with you. The software stays with the usb stick so you do not rely on the internet at all. You can also use the app on a mobile device and sync it to a single cloud storage copy. The encrypted database can be used by other applications as well. If you're nervous you can still print all the info on paper.

Thanks for the tip Steve. I must admit you lost me at "You can also use the app on a mobile device and sync it to a single cloud storage copy." The only cloud I have is the big black one over my head in a not so sunny [today] Devon. I'm starting to use app's having bought my first smart phone this summer. I'm one up rom a Ludite.

You and me both Colin. My kids lose me the minute they say “just download” or “copy and paste” or “save in”. I don’t understand why I can drive a car without understanding the internal combustion engine but I need to be an Einstein to use my laptop.
