Hello from Miranda, Reindert and our dog Isis. After many years of caravanning in a 1985 Kip caravan, we are now very happy with our Eriba Nova. What an upgrade, very nice. We're staying in Portugal to escape from te storms and snow. Lovely!

Where is home?

Welcome. What model do you have? I went to the dark side and upgraded from a Triton 430 to a Feeling 425, so same floorpan as a Nova.

Welcome!

We're thinking of going to the 'grey' side and buying an Eriba Nova Light 442 (if we can cope with parting with our Troll 535).
Does anyone have the same model?
Any recommendations on dealers to purchase from and 'optional extras'?
We live in Scotland (Edinburgh) and purchased our Troll 535 from Jandi in 2019, but now get it serviced via Knowepark (who have been very good so far). Unfortunately Knowepark will not order a Nova Light for us, but they did say they would service it, should we buy one as they have the Hymer service contract, or whatever it is.

Dealers who are willing to supply a Nova Light, or in my case a Feeling are fairly limited. Adventure Leisure Vehicles of Tebay have in the past supplied them and Red Lion Caravans of Southport still do.
The Nova Light is low on ground clearance and at 6.67m long I seem to recall one owner having issues with the back end grounding out. Have you considered the slightly shorter 470 that still offers long sleeping along the van beds with the option to make a Huge bed.
Also have you considered the Feeling. They are exactly the same floor plan model for model, including the still small bathroom. We are extremely pleased with our feeling 425 after owing 4 Tourings.
As regards specification, I would treat it like you would a Touring. As standard it will have a large onboard tank, so then add hot water, alloys, spare wheel, electric element to heater and blown air, premium jockey wheel for starters. The best thing to do is look here at the configurator and have a play. https://www.eriba.com/gb/en/configurator/nova-light#/ Options packs make sense, we love the premium jockey wheel and the biggest axle at 1,500 or 1,600kg is a no brainer. The factory fit mover price will make you cry, so consider an aftermarket fit Reich 2.0. Whilst the clearance looks low we have had no problem in the two summers we have used our van. The bottom fixing of the suspension shock actually sits lower than the underside of the mounting bar.
