The SIM card arrived but the dongle hasn't and we are off in a minute or several. The Devizes C&CC site (after Pewsey) has pay WIFI at £2 per day.

Presumably if I pay that extorbitant fee can I use the laptop anyway, regardless of dongle and SIM?

Yes they will give you a log on code normally I never bother as when I'm away the world can end as far as I'm concerned.

For those who bother to support the England football team I think it ended last night

I've not watched them now for a few years as they are lack lustre and have no committment, when you put that jersey on you should be willing to die for your contry!

Just paid £2 for 24hrs WiFi on the C&CC Devizes site and got up to scratch with emails etc and of course this site.

On arrivel here there was one Eriba very visible from the check in spot and we parked opposite another. Had a word with both and still haven't found a lot yet, but the first couple, said she was Starbucks on the Eriba Forum and then asked if I was Hampshireman. How on earth? Then she mentioned Carole's Hash polo shirt with the Winchester in the Hash logo and added 2 + 2. They live at Gosport and were thinking of shifting allegiance from one forum to this one.
She mentioned about getting him to add an outdoor water connection and I boasted that I had done the very thing and promised a look at mine, but he hasn't been over yet, very worreied as I was about drilling big hole in the walls. Haven't a clue what model they have but it's fixed bed and washroom. enabled.

Our neighbours opposite was a hasher in the same on as me at the same time in Riyadh, but we were probably too drunk to remember. Need to talk to him again about his van.

Starbucks is not her, she says it's StarBug, apparently a ref to Red Dwarf.

Yes, it was good to see three eribas on site and say hello to Hampshireman. I'm still working on the water fitment being a great idea. He that needs to be is getting all the encouragement I can muster but I fear the toolbag may soon come my way! Jandi have also been helpful as I rang them regarding one of those replacement black door bars that grandchild broke as he tried to close the door. So do I suggest the quick hole in the floor and tubes and wires connecting to the water carrier or do I go for broke and suggest the full external job with drilling the hole in the side of the van.

It arrived yesterday morning and couldn't get it working so took it to local computer shop who couldn't either, but suggested phoning Three which I did and finally got it going and tried it in the car this morning - while parked and it's fine.

Daft question but I now assume I can use it where there is WiFi on a site, even though they want to charge for it, or do I still have to comply with that?

I'm sure you still have to pay! They control access by passwords

Your MiFi and laptop is a single small wifi network for which you are paying Three (3).
The site wifi network is a different network which you pay to access.
It's up to you which one you use (assuming you can get a 3 signal) and it may be a question of price!
