What are people's thoughts on the 2014MY optional colour scheme of silver metallic both above and below the mid-rail?

Although i have yet to see one in the flesh I really do like the look of the silver top and bottom. Last year we were pitched next to a German couple who had a Gold Edition Familia and I just loved it, not as much so Doo- Dah of course.

Haven't seen one yet because all caravans are tucked up as snug as a bug in a rug.........winters here. No doubt Hymer or one of their dealers will have a model or two on display at the January exhibition in Stuttgart. Will let you know then.

I've only see the pictures and they look ok, I suppose it could be different in the flesh. I must admit the return to the dimple skin is growing on me. I think Hymer now charge an extra premium for the smooth skin and also a silver finish.

...a Gold Edition Familia...
Like this one, Ellen?

I don't think it would look quite as nice on a bigger thing like a Troll, but that's really spiffy.

Spiffier still if it didn't say Gold Edition in chocolate-box writing on the side.

I have grown to like the dimpled finish. It seems to sparkle a bit in sunshine.
The one I really like was the chilli special edition,

It's Japanese.

Try turning off your suspicious Japanese writing filter. The war finished in 1945

That's the one, Pepe, our familia and the gold edition looked like brothers parked up side by side and I agree that the effect may not have been quite the same on a larger Eriba.
