I have never tried this window scratch repair solution, but I use Fenwicks caravan cleaning products and never been disappointed.

If the scratch is quite deep, you could try "Brasso" - followed by a milder abrasive, like Fenwicks Scratch Repair :) (use all with 'CAUTION ' !)

As others have said you could use Brasso or dura glit.

If the scratch is deep then cut it back using what is called "4 nought wire wool" its available on ebay and is used to polish car windscreens, it does not scratch glass, and I know the Eriba windows are perspex, macrolon, polycarbonate whatever but it does work. You will need to polish the area after cutting back and for that you can use use the Brasso or dura glit, I have also heard of people using toothpaste but have no experience of thishth

The first time we erected our newly acquired awning we were concentrating so much on the front support and roof section that we failed to notice that the horizontal roof section poles nearest the caravan were dangling and swinging backwards and forwards against one of the van windows. Utterly dismayed as we hadn't owned the van 5 minutes I made some enquiries from other campers and was recommended 'Xerapol Scratch Remover' - http://www.amazon.co.uk/XERAPOL-PLASTIC-...S/dp/B00373JAA8 . Unlike what you can see in the YT video http://youtu.be/ibzgMAxOYaA I didn't actually use the wet paper first but got straight on with the polish and a bit of elbow grease. I tell you this stuff is unbelievable and I was utterly amazed how applying a bit of cream and a bit of effort could so easily remove the fairly deep scratches that were to be found on our vans windows. Highly recommended. Needless to say that we now cover the windows before erecting the awning.

Great tip and in the nick of time, I was just wondering how to remove a scratch also caused by the awning erection.
Cheers.

Thanks Deep sent for it yes your right Agger the older I get the more common sense goes out of the window (get it window ). I think some times the more you try not to damage things the more damage you do. The boss says stop worrying about things and get on just use it and enjoy.
