Ok I have posted this before elsewhere

But this is for the friendly people.

Get rid of your useless piece of wood / plastic sink cover and use a tray! We have 2 one on top of the other, widely available from supermarkets etc

I used to use a try from Morrison's on my old van when the sink cover/chopping board was an optional extra at £100

Not that I know much about the kitchen area but our sink cover fits where it should and seems OK. Will check with chef/manager

Ours has lived in the loft for the past five years.

If you are going to use yours, be sure to remove it from the sink and stow it somewhere safe when towing as they can take on the characteristics of a discus on a bumpy road and inflict damage on furniture and fittings.

We take off the sink cover AND the cover over the storage in the corner between sink and burners ever since it went flying in Spain. Luckily no damage.

We quickly identified the sink cover as pretty useless and just wrapped it in a blanket and left it at home, the frays are FAR more useful imho if you use your Eriba!😎

On one of our very first outings the sink cover flew off knocking the tap on. As there was no water in the container we arrived on site to find a very nasty smell coming out of the cupboard and a burnt out pump. The new to us Triton has a much lighter sink cover but I still remove and stow it away for travelling. Once caught, twice shy
