Help please, mover query!

Don't all laugh at the same time or shout at me but I have what is probably a silly question. Our new to us Triton has a mover, it's great, such a help getting up the drive and manoeuvering (spelling?) on site. There is one issue though. If the van is down on one side and needs a levelling plate trying to move it forwards onto the plate (under one wheel only) causes the Eriba to spin. Fairly obvious as one side is encountering an obstacle. So as the van is too heavy for me to push onto the levelling plate and it goes off at a tangent if I use the mover how am I supposed to do it? Just to clarify the mover winds on automatically so I can't just have it on one wheel.
All thoughts appreciated.

Mine does the same thing when I use the ramp. I don't use the forward button, I use one of the forward side controls which counteracts the twist..

The same here. However the twisting motion may also be counteracted by pulling on the same side's grab handle.
We also have this problem when using the mover up our sloping curb.

same here, i have found that if you introduce an incline gradually (not directly up a ramp) then the mover is far more forgiving, still a bit of a pain though.

Bias it to the right if trying to lift left side and visa versa. Takes a bit of practice but works then activate hand brake

Putting a chock behind the wheel on the ramp is more effective as the handbrake won't take effect until the van has run backwards for up to 25cm.

Thanks for all the tips guys, I'll give them a go next time but it's not actually a ramp I'm trying to move onto but a levelling plate. Flat, so more of an obstacle but hopefully one of the above will work.
