Having recently had wife problems I found the use of a chair to help erect the Fiamma caravanstore invalueable I wonder if you know how a chair could be useful for this task

Just a guess, but maybe used as a lion tamer would?

I am tempted to say Agger sits in the chair and gives instructions after conning someone else into putting it up for him

Rest the front roller on the seat of the chair while you extend the rafter and legs.

There you go easy.

I actually rested one end on the chair while I slid the rafter and leg out of the other end, and extended the leg partially and tilted it in toward the van, then went to the chair end and did the same, I was then able to extend the rafters and the legs, I had already attached the guy lines, so then it was just a few taps with my soft mallet to my 10 inch nail rock pegs, and the job was nearly done. As always onexposed sites I double guy rope, so out came my home made ropes and 2 more 10 inch nail rock pegs and the job was completed, all on my own

I have done it without a chair but the use of one makes it easier imho

Taking it down earlier in what can only be called a mild breeze by Damage Barton standards was interesting!!!!!

Good idea after all that stuff. We used ours all week and Carole always has that short problem with holding it up.
