This happened yesterday and closed the A419 near Chalford, no injuries! Luckily.
Take care out there and stay safe

That's horrible!
On the way home yesterday we were stuck in the nearside lane of the M4 wondering why we were all travelling so slowly. Eventually we found ourselves behind a small car being driven at a steady 42mph and looked for an opportunity to pass the idiot driving in such a frustrating and dangerous manner (perhaps it was a diesel with a clogged dpf in limp-home mode?)
There was an HGV behind me and as I indicated to overtake I saw his indicator go on. I pulled out and returned to the nearside lane immediately I was past the mobile chicane. When the HGV eventually drew alongside at his maximum 58mph he gave me an indignant fanfare on his horns so, naturally, I did the same to him and then flicked him the finger - one of the advantages of driving a soft top.
I don't know what his problem was as there was no apparent danger to anyone and I easily out-accelerated him as I did the manoeuvre but your picture emphasises just how vulnerable we and our outfits are and the possible consequences of 'getting it wrong'.
Thanks for the reminder!

This is from a couple of years ago.
The caravan tow car has broken down, this is a notorious black spot for accidents with literally dozens of deaths

watching lorries just slap the indicator on and roll out into the fast lane on the A14 without even waiting for a gap was a bit frightening on my way to Oxford last week.
